Projects | Urban Design Advisor for Uptown Consortium, Cincinnati Ken Greenberg was asked to act as urban design advisor in a team with HR&A and Beyer Blinder Belle of New York for a Consortium of major institutions including the University of Cincinnati, Children's Hospital, TriHealth, Health Alliance and the Cincinnati Zoo, and a number of surrounding community groups to develop a strategic plan for the Uptown area. This plan developed in 2004 was built around priority areas such as safety, transportation, housing, vocational training and education, and retail in a consultative process with the community, and will help each institution ensure that the shared conceptual framework informs intra-institution decisions. | |||
